Things on Tuesday
Familiar things:
This cycle of complacency and despair at work
Unfamiliar things:
The barrage of male attention I seem to be getting at the moment
The number of strangers who have started conversations with me in the last week - am I giving off some kind of vibe???
Improvised things:
The gyudon I made for tea tonight using very thinly sliced leftover steak and Bulldog brand tonkatsu sauce
Icy things:
My poor fingers and toes
Warm things
My heater
Sticky date pudding reheated with buterscotch sauce and cream
Hot water

Hi K, ... can i bother you with something unrelated to this post? Sorry if I am imposing.
Our business associate in Australia is recommending we get an office on Collins Street, Melbourne and Park Street, Sydney. This guy might have vested interest in pushing specific locations - so I was wondering if you can tell me whether these locations are easily accessible by public transport. I know it's kinda silly to rent offices before any of us get there - but we need the business addresses to incorporate the company and start the paper work in Australia. I don't get there till Jan or Mar 09.
This is about as much as I intend to bother you with work related stuff. Just need some help at this point and don't know anyone else in Mel or Syd.
Not a prob Abhi,
Collins Street Melbourne is definitely near public transport; a tram runs the length of it every minute or two and there are train stations either end and near the centre.
Park Street Sydney is bang in the middle of the CBD next to Hyde Park, I'm pretty sure transport would not be far away from any part of it, but you could check on http://maps.google.com.au/.
A'ight - it's a done deal then. It's 120 Collins Street, Melbourne and 2 Park Street (the CitiGroup building), Sydney ...
Thanks so much!
yeah - I usually take billion dollar decisions in a snap, like the time I bought a boat
(or
we're not really buying buildings here ... we're just renting serviced office suites from an international provider who gives us a package deal for 4 offices - one each in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne - it was just a matter of selecting one of their locations in each of the cities ... which it turns out I did with the help of a kind local ...)
